Corfu climate and weather month by month

The weather and climate in Corfu is typically Mediterranean, characterised by a hot and sunny climate during summer time and mild winters with high rainfalls. The level of humidity is high in Corfu, even during summer time for it is an island & it is surrounded by the sea.
As with Kefalonia weather, summers in Corfu island are reliably long and dry with brilliant sunshine and generally calm seas.
This sort of weather usually lasts from May to October, with July and August being the hottest months. In spring and autumn there is generally plenty of sun although the temperatures are lower than in the summer months.

With so many Greek islands to choose from, one is bound to find their favorite Between the months of June and September, there is very little rain fall. In August and September the temperature rises to over 30º C. With water temperatures of 25º - 27º C, beach babes are in their element!
Corfu has a remarkably mild climate - even in winter the temperature rarely drops under 0º celsius. From November to April the average daytime temperature is about 15º celsius - however when the sun comes out this can rapidly climb to 25º C. It does rain - but a general rule of thumb is that it only rains for 3 days at a time (at least that's what us locals say!). The rest of the time the sun shines down from clear, blue skies. May and October are really beautiful months to enjoy the island. There's lots of room on the beaches, the sea is still beautifully warm and Corfu island is green and fresh.
